The signage is lacking and I did spend some time wandering around looking for tees. There are a few nice ones requiring some distance and precision, but not all. Highly recommend but don't expect to much from the holes. Have been to better courses, closer courses, but this course is special. Really great that there are trash and recycling cans at each hole. Which is great because we'd just make up out own course and play from home to hole however we wanted. I can't remember ever seeing more than a couple other people. Of all the times I have played here we were alone most of the times. I skip those and go straight to hole 3 or four I think it is. This course has some short worthless holes near the brewery. Friends and I would drive up and play this course, and sometimes we'd play one in Novato before or after. But played this while living in San Francisco. If I lived in the nearby town of Booneville I would play it otherwise there are many superior courses all over northern California and southern Oregon that are immensely better and more fun. Around the 15th hole you get a nice whiff of the sewage facility only yards away. Its name is derived from its Anderson Valley location in Mendocino. I have been using this site to locate the better courses to play and it has been quite accurate until today.
